Five-time NFL Pro Bowl player Jared Allen and his foundation, Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors (JAH4WW), their partners at the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, and general contractor, Welliver, are excited to announce the completion of the mortgage-free, 100-percent accessible home in Bath, NY built for local United States Army veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and current officer at Village of Canisteo Police Department, Staff Sergeant Brent Nadjadi. The home for SSG Nadjadi is the first home built by JAH4WW in New York State.
It truly takes a village! Welliver, JAH4WW, and the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters hosted a ribbon cutting celebration at the new home. The project team, sponsors, subcontractors, vendors, and members of the community came together to celebrate this project milestone and present Brent and his family the keys to their new home.
Brent currently lives in Bath, NY in a home where stairs are dangerous obstacles, showering is a perilous task, and the absence of other handicap-accessible features can lead to further injuries and daily difficulties for an amputee. His new home is 100% accessible and tailored specifically to accommodate SSG Nadjadi’s injuries and includes adaptations making it easier to live his daily life in the comfort of a home that works for him.
