The project includes building renovations, additions, and parking lot renovations. In addition, our team constructed a new 5,000 SF stadium which includes an entrance building with new restrooms, concession stand, ticket booth, stadium storage, new bleacher systems at both home and visitor sides of the field, new stadium lighting, sound system, and scoreboard systems.
The quality of construction of the stadium began from the moment the field was stripped and subgrade installation began. An independent testing agency was employed by the district to monitor compaction, soil quality, and drainage of the overall stadium pad. Testing of drainage occurred throughout the construction of the project to adhere to the requirements of the standards of turf field installations. Monitoring of concrete foundations, sidewalks, and light pole bases occurred throughout construction to confirm specifications were met by both the independent testing agency and Welliver field personnel.
Welliver performed as Construction Manager Agent to the school district. We worked hand-in-hand with the Architect/Engineering firm on a day-to-day basis to manage quality, progress, and any questions that arose during construction. There were fourteen (14) prime contracts and bid packages for this project that were scoped, budgeted, and bid in a single bid phase for the total three-year construction schedule.
