Welliver served as Construction Manager for this comprehensive $28.3 million district-wide school improvement project. This project included additions and renovations to the elementary school, construction of a new 110,000 SF middle school, and complete renovation of the existing high school. Some specific areas focused on included the cafeterias, auditoriums, and gymnasiums in all of the school buildings. This provided additional capacity to increase numbers of students in the District and put less stress on the District’s resources once finished.
Welliver’s pre-construction team worked with architects, engineers, and the school district for over a year to develop bidding and phasing strategies. The final phasing plan involved three separate campuses and ensured maximum use of all buildings with minimum interruption to the District’s learning environment.
